Certification Station: March 2026 Progress Report

So far, I have published two blog posts as The Tech Practitioner. I have my About Me page and my Education and Certifications page, but I feel like I need to dedicate a part to my education progress as of today, March 11, 2026.

I'll start by going backwards. 

Earlier this week, I completed the AI Fluency course with Anthropic.

In February, I almost completed the Google Skills Introduction to Generative AI path, but I keep getting stuck on the Vertex AI labs. I've completed all the other coursework, but Vertex has been difficult for me, not because I don't understand it, but because I'm convinced that there's some discrepancies between the UI and instructions. I did some research and even consulted Gemini, but still couldn't successfully complete the lab within the allotted time. I won't give up until I finish it. In the meantime, I'm celebrating the other courses by showing off my badges. 

In 2017, I decided to pick up HTML and CSS because I wanted to have more creative control over my blog designs. I decided to try SoloLearn. I completed the HTML course and the CSS course.

As I move forward in this journey, collecting certificates and badges like Thanos collected Infinity Stones in the Avengers movies, I'm so excited to see what I learn next and what kind of AI shenanigans I can get into. I know my voice matters. I know I can contribute great things to this field, certified or not. But the certificates show that I know what I'm talking about.
